spent quite a bit of time out there at Breezy. How could you not love a place named Breezy Point? the sun, sand, and great waves. Truly the Irish Riviera. The smell of sausage cooking on a charcoal grill, kind old folk sweeping out front their houses, a radio playing low enough but loud enough to hear a nice summertime tune. cops, firemen, everyone tanned and happy. a special place, indeed.
Breezy was, and I'm sure still is, a great and special place. Enjoy!
all the best, ppporkie.

Ppppporkie, I now have a house at the Jersey Shore and most of my neighbors have named their houses i.e. my next door neighbor's names are Joy and John - their place is called "Joy's Haven"; across the street is a retired fireman - his place is called "NYPD Smokey" - my place is aptly named "Breezy Point" for all the wonderful memories my wife and I and the kids had at that fantatic haven from the streets of Brooklyn. A few years ago the kids gave us a 3' by 1' hardwood sign with a background in light blue and the letters in dark blue - it has been on the front of the house since that summer.

Oh and similar to Breezy - I would say that 75% of the houses on my block display Old Glory each and every wonderful day (:

Ppppppppeace!

I'll go one better. I LIVE ON THE JERSEY SHORE.
and I don't even havetuh own it. cause without even paying a penny, I actually do. (spare me the taxes etc spiel, I know I'm stretchin' the troot a bit, moan ammie, so work with me here)
Early Saturday, peddle the 'ol cycle to the wattah, run a few mile or 2, go to the gym, shower anna shave an' I'm a happy happy boy.
very reminiscent of Breezy, only better. cleaner, less crowded. very few if any loutish, hey do ya know who you're talkin' to? morons to deal with.
and, AND kicka$$ restaurants, trails, stores, parks. everything you could ask for, and not KINGS PLAZA, know what I mean, Vern?
Ahhhh, the brine in the air comes whisping throught the room while we type our widdle fingers away.
take care MAC 90s and all you other happy workers out there. Surf's up!
