Does anyone out there remember the Oxhead Bar on 5th Ave somewhere around 83rd st.The barkeep was a fellow named Bob White. This was in the late 50's and early 60's

Sorry to hear that.We had good times together.The candy at that time was owned by a guy named Louie who they nicknamed Louie "Feets" He was  small time bookie,but a great guy.

Is your father the same Michael Aylward who went St.Patricks grammer school back in the 40's and50's if so I went to school with him.We hung out on 92nd st. and 4th ave He worked in a candy store there.

Know the area well. I lived in the apartment across the street,the Melba, from 1942 until i got married in 1963. We had great times on that block. Hung out in the Candy store you described and played ball against the side wall. Knew all the different owners of that store starting with Myers and his wife. the last owner I recall was someone named Tom. I went to St Patricks grammer school on 95th St.

'Does anyone know whatever happened to Susan Lindquist. She lived on 91st st. between 3rd and 4th aves. in the 50's and 60's. She had a sister Judy.
