Hello, I'm new to the community, and sorry that this is my first post.

I live on 80th and 5th and my brown tabby cat got loose yesterday night. I'm not sure when. But between 3 am and 7:30am. The wind blew open our door.

They may have started a while ago, but i just found out today. Someone on Facebook was suspended for a week they didn't like something he said. He told me he said said that some black people were racists when they voted for a candidate because of the color of his skin.

I'm trying to figure out what is wrong with that. It's true. Blacks have said that many times, that they only voted for Obama because he was black.

General Discussion / Petition to Remove Bay Ridge NY 3rd Avenue Parking Meters
« Last post by ag1011 on July 26, 2016, 12:03:50 PM »
About  a week ago new parking meters were added to Bay Ridge's 3rd Avenue (form 96St to Marine Avenue)

This area of Brooklyn already suffers from the lack of parking (sometimes you spend hour or more looking for it), with the introduction of parking meteres there is going to be even less parking available for the people living in the area.  Our proposal is

1) (preferable) to either remove new parking meters immediately (since the residents had no chance to vote on this decision),

2) if parking meters are not to be removed then public officials in charge should provide explanation behind adding them as well as to provide immediate alternative free parking solution for the people living in the area in order to provide adequite conditions as prior to addition of these.

General Discussion / Re: Lamps of China
« Last post by Dileen on May 31, 2016, 09:02:03 AM »
The Lamps Of China was on 3rd Avenue between 93rd and 94th Street.  Today there is a Rite Aid at the same location.  It hard to believe that anyone would open a restaurant that big today.  The times they did change.
